invitation round 2

the flower looks a tad bigger than reall is...but it also is laying flat on the scanner. on actual invitation i do not have the petals glued down so it is more 3-d looking on invite.

for dad. wish i could have got one of her running in it to her belly

invitations

I bought blue ribbon tonight. I had the prima flower and button, however I only have a couple so i'd have to go to Michaels or somewhere and see if they have similar to use, IF you think this is a better vision. The green is still not showing true. It's more a fun beachy tropical green. The dots are raised on the paper. What else can I do? My plan was to put 'you're invited on the black above the PP, however then I think there is too much open space on the PP to the right of the ribbon. Should I have an image stamped? Should I put a button or something in the lower right hand corner of the PP to offset the space? Ideas? Maybe center the PP instead and then put the 'you're invited' on the PP itself? Thank you for your feedback.

Not sure what to go with...I put ribbon (which is pink and the button is too which kinda looks re but it is a brightish pink color to offset the green) on the one I think I like most, just to play around. Nothing is adhered down yet till I decide. I need ideas. I had purple polka dot paper too but decided I didn't like it. Pretty sure I like either the first or second green best, but I could be persuaded on the black with dots as well. These are for a bridal shower. She loves polka dots and we are going with a beachy theme. I'm trying to make the invites look first off...nice since their homemade and I don't do a lot of homemade cards and secondly have a classly look to them. I don't want them to look too cheesy if that makes sense.

Where it all happens

Hey, first post of the new year. Haha. Such a loser. I shouldn't have joined Cheryl in creating one of these because I obviously cannot keep up.

So this is where all the mess happens...I mean madness...I mean creativeness.....

Ok...still need to sew the black and white curtains for the window and above the closet...but uhhh I'm a proscratinator for two years on that. oops. Will do that SOMEDAY.
Meet Gorgeous: A PINK cricut expression, in which some of the proceeds went to breast cancer research! I love her, if only I can figure out why she isn't cutting right...otherwise she is perfect. :)
Cheryl: Above the first birthday is cut using 'real dial size'. see how the 'r' and 'a' are funny? They are all cut at the same height so they make them funky I guess....where when I take real dial off and cut the second birthday out.....they are different heights but look right beside each other to form the word...yet they are not cutting at the length the cricut is set out. boo.
